Principle of check valve
Check valve refers to the flow of the medium itself and automatically open and close the valve disc, used to prevent the reverse flow of the medium valve, also known as check valve, one-way valve, reverse flow valve, and back pressure valve.Check valve belongs to an automatic valve, its main role is to prevent the reverse flow of the medium, to prevent the reversal of the pump and the drive motor, and the release of the container medium.Check valves can also be used to supply a line in which the pressure may rise above the system pressure in an auxiliary system.Check valve can be divided into swing type check valve (according to the center of gravity rotation) and lift type check valve (moving along the axis).
The function of check valve is to allow the medium to flow only in one direction, and prevent the opposite direction of flow.Usually this valve is automatic work, in one direction of the flow of fluid pressure under the action of the disc open;When the fluid flows in the opposite direction, the fluid pressure and the self-coincidence of the valve disc act on the valve seat, thus cutting off the flow.
Advantages and disadvantages ---- lifting type: good sealing performance, simple structure, flow resistance.
Swing type: poor sealing performance, complex structure, small flow resistance, mostly used in larger diameter pipeline.
Main use ---- is suitable for the pipeline with the requirement of preventing material flow back.Check valve is generally suitable for clean medium, and should not be used with the medium containing solid particles and high viscosity.
